The Governor of Benue State, and other supporters of the President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration have called for his re-election in the 2015 presidential election, as they believe it will enable him conclude the work he had started.

Addressing reporters after President Jonathan’s declaration held at the Eagles Square in Abuja on Tuesday, Governor Gabriel Suswam called on Nigerians to vote for President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general elections, sounding so sure the President would secure the People Democratic Party’s presidential ticket.
The Chairman of the Presidential Declaration Committee Dr. Haliru Bello and many others say the future is bright judging from the President’s speech.
On their part, former deputy governors of Plateau State, Ekiti and Ogun State said that Nigerian women had not enjoyed democratic dividend like they do enjoy under the Jonathan’s administration.
While delivering his declaration speech, President Jonathan requested for another opportunity to serve Nigerians, assuring them of a better future.
The declaration had all the trappings of a political rally and attracted well meaning Nigerians, including those who believe Nigerians are enjoying what the administration had done.
The President also touched on what he is doing and yet to do for Nigerian women.
He also dwelt largely on the security crisis in the north-east, which has been seen as a huge clog in the progress of Nigeria, raising hopes that Nigeria would overcome the challenges.
