One of the adopted daughters of President Jonathan, Ine, will be walking down the aisle with her man Simeon this January. Their traditional marriage will take place on January 3rd 2015 in Bayelsa while their white wedding will hold on the 10th of January in Abuja.

Explosion occurs in Yobe State




An explosion rocked Arikime Primary School playing ground in Potikum, Yobe state around 6pm yesterday Dec. 28th, killing a sugar-cane vendor who was heading home after the day’s trading.

Nigeria Military reclaims part of captured towns in Adamawa state

The Nigeria military says they have reclaimed the towns of Gombi, Hong and Pelia in Adamawa which was recently overrun by Boko Haram militants.

Federal lawmakers in the Senate divided over the Nigerian President’s request for the extension of emergency rule in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states.

In a petition addressed to the Director of State Security Service (DSS) and the Inspector-General Of Police, he advised the agencies to effect the arrest of Tompolo within 72 hours or be prepared for court action.

Suicide Bomber Attacks Kontagora
